Kris Aquino reaches out to the public for prayers as she prepares for surgery.
After continuous updates on her recovery, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is set to undergo another major surgery.
Kris took to Instagram to share a filtered photo of her implant, asking for prayers and support ahead of her surgical procedures.
"I needed to use a filter because my closest friends, my doctors, and family- all had the same reaction- why do the strangest, mysterious medical mishaps not caused by man or by the machine implanted very near my heart," she explained in the caption of the filtered photo she posted.
Despite describing herself as "kulit," she asked netizens for their prayers and support as she prepares for the first of her two surgical procedures on Wednesday, September 10.
"Please pray for my surgeons and cardio-interventionists, all the residents and fellows, all the nurses and all the staff in the OR, and the Cardio OR. I thank the Holy Spirit and the birthday girl, Mama Mary, for keeping my survival instinct sharp," she said.

The former actress-TV host also reflected on her confinement, noting that much has happened during that time.
"Someone I loved and broke my heart because he left me when my health issues were getting worse. I don't know how he knew where to find me, but about 10 days ago, he surprised me. He said he wanted to see how I was, and a few days after, via text, he apologized several times," she shared.
During this time, Kris admitted she has realized why they are not meant for each other, and it is because she has a "lifelong battle" since autoimmune diseases have no cure.
She explained, "His fulfillment comes from working with communities and going all over the Philippines; God has a plan."
However, recently, she shared, "I got to know a doctor who I can describe as brilliant, brave, and very reliable, plus he has good skin and great hair. He brings knowledge and genuine wisdom, plus he shares the same Chinese Astrological sign as my dad & mom. I shared my personal life, but with no names, because that's how it will be."
"Please pray for all those doing their best to keep Bimb & Kuya Josh's mama strong enough to start her physical therapy," she added.
