Kris Aquino updates netizens after undergoing yesterday's surgical procedures.
Queen of All Media Kris Aquino once again opens up about her continuing health journey.
In her latest Instagram post, she shared a touching message after undergoing the first of two surgical procedures.
"Headed down. Marami na kaming pinagdaanan. In 5 days, we would have been back a year. I wish you could hear how quiet the hallways are. Thank you for praying, isa pang TEST OF TAPANG," Kris wrote.
The post was accompanied by a photo of Kris in her hospital bed with her sons, Josh and Bimby. By her side, both young men firmly held their mother's hands in a show of strength and support.
Fans and friends quickly flooded the comments section with messages of love and prayers. Among the celebrities who expressed support were Carla Abellana, Camille Prats, Carmina Villarroel, Jobelle Salvador, Gary Valenciano, Coney Reyes, Ryan Bang, Arnold Clavio, and Sugar Mercado.
Earlier, Kris had asked for prayers for her upcoming major surgeries. She also shared reflections on the many changes in her life.
"Someone I loved and broke my heart because he left me when my health issues were getting worse. I don't know how he knew where to find me, but about 10 days ago, he surprised me. He said he wanted to see how I was, and a few days after, via text, he apologized several times," she shared.
Kris acknowledged that they were not meant to be together, admitting her "lifelong battle" with autoimmune diseases had shaped her perspective.
She explained, "His fulfillment comes from working with communities and going all over the Philippines; God has a plan."
The former TV host also mentioned meeting another talented doctor whom she described as "brilliant, brave, and very reliable."
She ended her message with a heartfelt request, "Please pray for all those doing their best to keep Bimb & Kuya Josh's mama strong enough to start her physical therapy."
Before these major operations, Kris had already undergone surgery prompted by alarming blood test results, marking another difficult but courageous step in her health journey.
