Kris Aquino continues to show strength and gratitude despite her ongoing health challenges. In September, she shared that she had been confined to undergo two medical procedures, following her diagnosis of 11 autoimmune diseases last June.
In her latest Instagram post last October 12, the Queen of All Media opened up about her health and the people who keep her motivated to fight.
“It's been a very tough 8 weeks but somehow I SURVIVED,” she began. “This video is about my 2 boys. And why I'm fighting for them.”
The actress and TV host also proudly shared a heartfelt update about her youngest son, Bimby Yap, and his growing passion for music.
“My 18 year old has for now decided to continue with his singing lessons with coach Thor (plus some super star 'Titos' who have volunteered to teach him about stage presence and how to make audience rapport fun for all),” Kris revealed.
She went on to express how much her son has been there for her throughout her health journey, highlighting his unwavering support and care.
“From the time he was 11 he's been my companion every time I've had to been put to sleep for the numerous procedures I have undergone,” she shared.
In true Kris fashion, she ended the post with a touching note of appreciation and love for Bimby.
“A singing doctor-thank you hunny for being the embodiment of what mama had wished for. [There's a surprise in one of the pics that's a VIDEO],” Kris wrote, including a video of Bimby taking a singing class.
Despite her ongoing medical battles, Kris continues to radiate hope and pride, showing that her greatest source of strength lies in her two sons, Josh and Bimby, and their shared love for life, family, and now music.
