Kris Aquino has officially embraced a new chapter in her life away from the city.

Nearly 10 years after bidding farewell to showbiz temporarily to focus on her health and family, the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino has once again made a life-changing move.

Earlier this year, Kris shared her plans to relocate outside Metro Manila and even spoke about renovating a home within their family compound. Fast forward to November 5, the television icon confirmed the big change through her latest Instagram post, proudly declaring, “Probinsyana na si KCA and it's #lovelovelove.”

Kris Aquino offered a heartfelt peek into her daily life at home, sharing a touching moment with her youngest son, Bimby.

She revealed how they are adjusting to a simpler, more intimate setup as a “nuclear family.” "We're learning to be a nuclear family. I admit we have 2 nurses, 2 assistants, several men BUT we set a rule- when it's dinner time, the 3 of us will eat together and bond like a family," she wrote, emphasizing that gadgets are off-limits during meals except for listening to new music.

Kris went on to share a lighthearted exchange with Bimby when she asked her nurses, Elle and Kate, to bring her a notepad so she could jot down song lyrics she wanted to remember.

“Until Bimb asks, mama, what are you doing?" Kris explained in her caption.

"Then he shows me where all lyrics can be found and how I can underline the ones I like to create lyric cards using my favorite overall template,” she said.

The actress reflected on the experience with humor and grace, calling it “a sad reminder of aging but a beautiful acceptance that we should always be eager to learn.”

Kris Aquino also shared a touching story about her conversation with her eldest son, Josh, after informing him of their plans to move into the ancestral home of her late mother, former President Cory Aquino.

“[W]hen I told kuya that his Lola's house would be our house he looked at me angry and said 'No, that's LOLA HOUSE'… I appeased him by saying Lola wanted him to have it — a smile that started in his eyes, made his dimple appear, and a smile for Lola that was full of love and gratitude,” Kris recounted.

Despite dealing with ongoing health struggles, she ended her post on a resilient note. “The bone pain is awful because of the weather. But this is now part of my life and it hasn't broken my spirit yet.”

Kris also opened up about a recent exchange with one of her trusted doctors, who suggested a new medication for her condition.

“I disappointed 1 of the doctors I respect the most [the other is my anesthesiologist]… I tried new medicine but it's just not for me. He wants to help relieve the pain from fibromyalgia,” she shared.

In her usual candid tone, Kris even added a bit of humor to the situation, writing, “I was saying we could be roommates for 5 nights so he could see that when the weather is colder, my bone protrusions have a life of their own.”
