Actress Kris Bernal finally announced her and fiance Perry Choi's wedding date in a recent vlog on her YouTube channel yesterday, August 26.

“It's my first time to reveal only here on my YouTube channel that my wedding day is on September 25, 2021 and ang ceremony namin [ay] sa Magallanes Church,” the actress happily shared in her video.

However, the actress-entrepreneur also said that there's no guarantee that the date will push through due to the ongoing surge of COVID-19 cases.

She shared in her vlog, “Hindi ko pa rin ma-assure sa inyo or maga-guarantee sa inyo Sheezums na tuloy na tuloy yung Sept. 25, 2021 kasi syempre dahil there's a surge in COVID cases lalo na mas very infectious ang DELTA 'di ba and then pumasok na nga daw si Lambda.

“This is not just about me and Perry that we want to be together na. But of course our priority is the safety of our loved ones, of our families, of our relatives more than--you know-- being together, 'yun ang pinaka-importante.”

Kris also shared some of the wedding options that she got with the help of her wedding coordinator.

She narrated, “Option A is to stick with the original date but change the reception venue since hotels are very strict when it comes to safety measures, following the guidelines, and when it comes to mass gatherings.”

The StarStruck alumna also said that they are looking for an events place that can accommodate around 50 people.

According to Kris, the second option is to have a civil wedding ceremony.

“Plan B naman is civil wedding na lang. Like very very simple lang. Family members lang talaga. Just a simple dinner, set-up at home ng dinner, sa bahay na lang, ganon na lang,” she shared.

The actress's last option is to move the wedding date to next year.

“Why next year? Because Sheezums, fully fully fully booked na talaga lahat ng weekends ngayon.

“Kasi gusto namin weekend eh para mas maraming available. Fully booked na talaga ang weekends, fully booked na talaga ang mga suppliers. Since tumataas din talaga 'yung cases, may bago pang virus. Hindi natin alam kung hanggang kailan pa ito,” she shared.

She also mentioned that the wedding will be livestreamed on YouTube.

“May livestream tayo here on my youtube channel so lahat kayo makakanood, lahat kayo updated. Very excited na ako Sheezums. Sana samahan niyo ako dito sa exciting journey ko.

“Sana sumama kayo sa livestream kasi may countdown tayo from this vlog up to the next vlogs up to my wedding day, Sheezums.

“So sana mag-enjoy kayo katulad ng pag-suporta n'yo sa akin sa pag-aartista ko. Sana ganito rin ang suporta n'yo sa akin sa bagong journey sa buhay ko,” Kris shared.
