From acting, beauty, businesses, to having a happy love life, Kris Bernal has it all. Despite being in the limelight and publicly dating non-showbiz fiancé Perry Choi, Kris has kept her love life private.

Now that she's newly-engaged, Kris is opening up more about her relationship with Perry.

In a Q and A video from Unang Balita, Kris recalled how Perry proposed to her.

“Birthday niya 'nun tapos naghanda ako ng surprise birthday party para sa kaniya. Tinulungan ako ng kapatid niya at ng mother niya,” she began.

Kris added, “Hindi ko alam na mayroon din siyang surprise proposal para sa 'kin.”

When asked what the cheesiest thing she has done for her boyfriend, Kris revealed Perry is the sweeter one.

She said, “Actually, siya talaga 'yung mas sweet sa 'kin. Madalas kasi, siya talaga 'yung nag-e-effort sa 'kin. Siya talaga 'yung mas sweet.”

Additionally, Kris shared more about her fiancé's humble personality through her Instagram stories.

“He hates being on articles, news, TV, camera, etc.”

“He doesn't even like it when I post him on my day or feed. He hates the spotlight. He's a very private person. Never a show-off, though he has a lot to brag about.”

The couple got engaged on Perry's birthday party on February 6 after dating for three years.
