Kapuso actress Kris Bernal is officially engaged!

The actress and entrepreneur got a surprise of a lifetime when her non-showbiz boyfriend, Perry Choi, got down on one knee during his own birthday.

The intimate (and surprising) moment was captured by Nice Print Photography, which shared the photo online with the caption: “So this just happened.”

You can see the state of shock in Kris's face as Perry shows her the engagement ring.

As of writing, Kris has still yet to comment on the good news on her social media sites.

Bernal and Choi have been dating for three years.

The two revealed their relationship in 2017 and have been seen in public since then.

Choi, a businessman and a chef, is also always featured in Kris Bernal's YouTube channel where they do challenges together.

Just early this year, Kris wrote a heartfelt letter for her beau and thanked him for staying with her despite having a roller coaster of a 2019.

She wrote, “I want to thank you for the endless things you do for me and for everything that you are, @choi.perry. For loving me endlessly, honestly, constantly, completely, with all your heart, mind, and being!

"Seriously, I can just count in my fingers our “tampuhans” this year! 3 out of 365 days? No major major!

“I want to thank you for enduring the emotional roller coaster of my 2019. For being always there for me.

"This is not a quote I got from a famous leader, author, or whatsoever.

“This is a lesson learned from Perry on how to live life, love life, find happiness and live the version of the good life.

“Success is never measured by pesos and cents, Success is what you do to others with what you have.” - Perry Choi"
