Actress-entrepreneur Kris Bernal recently launched a project aiming for women empowerment.

Actress-entrepreneur Kris Bernal just launched a project aiming for women empowerment by featuring Filipina women and their inspiring stories.

Everything starts with a dream. ✨ And only through hard work can we make our dreams a reality. It has always been my dream to be an artist, and winning Starstruck was the break that I needed to enter the industry. My support system, consisting of family, friends, colleagues, brand sponsors, management and fans has always been instrumental in how I was able to make that dream and so much more come true. ❤️Through the years, I have continued to check off of my dream-list: buying a house in Cali for my family, opening @HouseofGogiPH and launching my passion project. ✨ But what makes being an artist so much more is that this blessing has provided me a platform to share my stories in the hopes that they motivate and empower you. ❤️🤗 And speaking of empowerment, I'm excited to share with you a passion project that we've been working hard on since last year. The goal is twin-fold: to motivate women by sharing inspiring stories of which we can learn and draw strength from; and to empower women by providing the tools to be our most beautiful selves. So, join me as we celebrate womanhood by taking a closer look into the stories of some of the most amazing Filipinas. 💕 As what they will show us, a woman who believes in herself and gives her best can achieve whatever #SHE sets her mind and heart to. #YouGotItGirl - Kris B.

Kris stated on Instagram, “Everything starts with a dream. And only through hard work can we make our dreams a reality.”

“Through the years, I have continued to check off of my dream-list: buying a house in Cali for my family, opening @HouseofGogiPH and launching my passion project.”

Some of the women Kris has featured for her project's Instagram are Onanay actress Jo Berry and Asia's Next Top Model 6 finalist Jach Manere.

GMA 7's newest talent, Jo Berry plays the lead role in the network's, "Onanay". She said she worked extra hard because she didn't have any acting background. She worked tirelessly to understand her character, studied her script and spent time with her acting coach so she can roll with the renowned actors that she works with. The reason Jo works extra hard is because it is not very often that people with dwarfism are given a big break in the industry. She shares that her most memorable experience as an actress is her scene with Nora Aunor where they both cried endlessly. For her, everything is possible as long as you dream big and work hard. 🎬 #SHEstory

Known as our Philippine representative at Asia's Next Top Model, Jach Manere is not jus a pretty face. She is also a graduating student of Music Business Management and has a passion for sound designing. She says that her passions are both fashion and music, and though both industries are cut-throat, she says that it is up to you on how you can stand out. 🎼 #SHEstory
