Soon-to-be mom Kris Bernal dedicated a lengthy yet heartwarming message for her non-showbiz husband, Perry Choi, as the new chapter of their lives as parents draws near.

In an Instagram post, Kris shared a video clip of her and Perry having a sweet time together and expressed that she's looking forward to watching her spouse become a dad.

She wrote, "Future mom and dad. Soon the end of one story is here and then a new one can begin. Our world is about to change. I'm so thankful I get to go on this ride with you.

"I've been asked many times what are the things I look forward to when our baby arrives; and it's watching you become a dad. I look at you and see so much of what I hope our baby will be."

The actress-entrepreneur also hopes that their child “will carry kindness with her in all of her actions the way that you do every day.” Kris also said that she and her husband will learn a lot as they embark on their parenthood journey.

She went on, “As a couple, we need to stay strong, understand, and respect each other's' feelings. I trust that you will be an incredible dad and I pray that you will discover God's wisdom for parenting along the way.

“We are so lucky to have you and I love you more than any words would do justice to describe!”

Perry and Kris became husband and wife after tying the knot in September 2021. In March, the married couple announced that they are expecting their first child.

In April, the two revealed that they will be having a baby girl. Kris and Perry recently went on a trip to South Korea for their “babymoon.”
