
Known for being a fitness junkie, actress Kris Bernal is now back to working out while she's pregnant with her first child.

In her Instagram post, the soon-to-be mom shared a video of her “very first workout” in five months since her pregnancy journey began.
According to the actress-entrepreneur, since most of her early pregnancy symptoms have begun to clear up, she can now do low impact exercises.
Kris wrote, “If you've been following me for a while, you know that I am a beast at the gym accustomed to heavy lifting and intense workouts. I'm so surprised with my low stamina and my overall lack of energy. Body weight seems to have doubled and I could only manage a few repetitions. Nakakapanibago, parang hindi ako 'to. Lolsss!”
The StarStruck alum also said that she's trying to work out during her pregnancy to prepare herself “for labor and for life” and not because she wants to lose weight.
In early March, Kris announced that she is expecting her first child with her non-showbiz husband, Perry Choi. Along with her pregnancy revelation, the actress also shared some snaps from her creative movie-themed maternity photoshoot with her spouse.
Kris and Perry got engaged in February 2020 and officially became husband and wife in September 2021.
