Kris Bernal is about to check off one thing on her bucket list which is finally having her own dream home! In her latest vlog, watch as she starts planning her future family home together with her mom.

In previous vlogs and interviews, Kris Bernal and Perry Choi have stated that they only plan to get married once they have their own home to move into.

And now, it seems like their wedding date is inching closer and closer as Kris finally starts planning the construction of her future home.

In her latest vlog, Kris was joined by her mom, Analyn Tan, and together, the two started looking at their architect's drafts before approving the final design.

According to Kris's mom, she personally asked Perry to be a part of the planning team of their future dream home.

Also, the plot of land that their house will be built on was actually one they bought over a decade ago through Kris's savings which she earned from her showbiz and artista work.

"The lot, I bought it way back 2012 to 2014. It's also located in Quezon City. Binili ko 'yon, katas din 'yon ng trabaho ko na inipon ni Mom.

"Kasi of course 'nung nagsisimula ako, si Mommy 'yung naghahawak 'nung pera ko kasi baka magastos ko din sa mali.

"So in fairness naman kay Mommy, isa talaga sa mga good decisions talaga namin and good investments namin itong lot na nabili namin," said Kris.

Having a place in Quezon City is also an advantageous location for Kris since her new home is just a few minutes away from her mother's house and most of her showbiz commitments happen in the country's so-called "City of Stars."

Originally, Kris and her mom were aiming for a modern-Mediterranean home à la mega reality TV star Kim Kardashian but have opted to go with a zen house design.
