Krista Ranillo expressed love and gratitude to her late grandmother Gloria Sevilla, "Miss na miss kita."
Actress Krista Ranillo could not contain her sadness as she battles her grief over the death of her grandmother Gloria Sevilla. The 90-year-old veteran actress peacefully died in her sleep in the U.S.
In a series of Instagram posts, the actress looked back at the moments when she and her grandma spent time together with their family in the America.
She wrote in one of her posts, “I can't sleep. I miss you. I'm so thankful we were able to spend time ever since you moved here to the US. It's still not enough time. I wish we had more time. I wish we had more memories together. It's been 10 days since we last saw each other and my heart is breaking knowing I won't see you again. You were going to visit for my birthday,.
Krista shared how much she, as well as the kids in the family, love and adore the veteran actress. She also mentioned one of their conversations about her upcoming wedding with her husband Niño Jefferson Lim.
“You promised to be at my church wedding in July. I love you Grandma. So much. Nino loves you, the kids adore you. I'm thankful to the Lord that the kids got to know their great Grandma. Nate will miss dancing for you. He told me tonight he wishes he danced more for you because it made you so happy. I love you."
In a separate post on Easter Sunday, Krista shared photo with her late grandma in one of their vanity time together.
The former actress wrote, "Happy Easter Grandma. I thought falling asleep last night was hard but it was harder to get up today without you. Pastilan, puro pa-beauty kasi tayo ng pa-beauty. I joked and told you baka maligawan ka ulit nyan. Nagalit siguro si Lolo Mat and Grandpa Madz kaya tinawag ka na nila. Gi atay. Miss na miss kita."
She ended her post with gratitude over everyone who loved and supported her grandma throughout her years in showbiz.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you Thank you for the love, the prayers and the support. It makes me happy to know that Grandma was so well loved. Thank you to everyone that reached out. Thank you to our friends in the media who wrote about her. My family and I love all of you. Happy Easter sa inyong lahat,” she ended.
Krista is the daughter of veteran actor Mat Ranillo III, one of Gloria's children with her first husband, actor Mat Ranillo II.
