Kristoffer Martin set a new personal record in his second Ironman 70.3 race.

Kapuso actor Kristoffer Martin has joined the Ironman 70.3 race for the second time.

The most recent Ironman race was held in Lapu-lapu, Cebu.

Kristoffer proudly shared that he is one of the race finishers and even set a new personal record.

In an Instagram post, the actor revealed his official recorded time, including the breakdown for the swimming, biking, and running legs of the race.

The times he set were all an improvement from the ones he set during his first Ironman race back in June.

"IronMan 70.3 Cebu unlocked!

"1.9km : 34:28
90km : 2:55:14
21km : 2:32:36
Official time: 6:13:15

"Totoo nga sinabi nila. Masarap kumarera sa Cebu. From swim to run. Ang festive! Gagawin ko to ulet dito!

"Kala ko talaga makukuha na natin Sub 6 this time. From swim to bike maganda tinatakbo. Kaso iba pala plano ng legs ko sa run. still happy with the result. My fastest 70.3 yet. Thank you Cebu. Napakaganda mo," he wrote on the caption of his post.



Kristoffer's wife AC and their daughter Precious traveled with him to Cebu to cheer him on.

"Thank you sa aking misis na nagpaggawa ng mukha ko sa sintra board. Matagal ko nang pangarap yon. Tinupad mo. HAHA. Salamat sa pagtakbo at pagtiis sa initan. Mahal kita palagi. And siyempre kay Pretyut! Kayo lakas ko kanina," he continued.

He also took the time to thank the team which made everything possible for him.

"To my @brooksrunningph family, thank you for this opportunity. Thank you sa support kanina. Para sa inyo to! Thank you @jldenriquez and @9ian.jssn sa pagpace sakin sa last 2km. Sobrang laking tulong!

"Coach @keb.eijansantos, ikaw susi sa karera ngayon. Maaabot din natin sub 6. Muntik na kanina! Salamat sa last minute tips coach!

"Coach @andrevibar salamat sa nutrition coach. And sa @pwrendurance! Di na natin disclose dito nangyari. Pero on-point yung plan natin. Salamat," he wrote.

Kristoffer truly enjoyed the race and is already looking forward to the next one.

"Congrats to finishers ng aming team @enduratriteam ! Pakahusay niyo!

"Recover lang, babanat ulit!," he ended his post.

He also posted a short video of him crossing the finish line.

Just last June, Kristoffer conquered the Ironman 70.3 race which was held in Subic Bay.

He dedicated his finish to his family and was a way to celebrate Father's Day for himself.

This latest Ironman 70.3 was held in Lapu-lapu, Cebu on August 10.

The famous triathlon is considered one of the most grueling sporting events in the world.
