Kryz Uy: “The whole house is shaking. This is insane.”
Vlogger and expectant mom Kryz Uy captured on video Typhoon Odette battering Cebu, yesterday, December 16.
According to PAGASA's 5 a.m. report, the eye of Odette was located 75 kilometers (km) southwest of Iloilo City.
Still, the storm has maximum sustained winds of 155 km per hour (kph) and gusts of up to 235 kph.
As of writing, Cebu is under Signal No. 2 based on the information from the weather bureau.
Kryz, the wife of former actor and now businessman Slater Young captured on camera the torrential rain and strong winds as Odette got closer to Cebu.
The social media personality uploaded these on her Instagram Story and at one point, Kryz got scared because of the strong winds battering their house.
She posted, “Hiding in hubs office. The whole house is shaking. This is insane. Please keep safe everyone!!!!”

In a separate Instagram Story, Slater decided to move his family inside his office.
He said, “Sound on! Crazy!!!! Hiding in the office, staying away from glass windows.”
