The multi-billion-peso flood control controversy remains at the center of headlines and social media debates, especially after netizens pointed out how the children of some contractors allegedly involved have been flaunting their lavish lifestyles online.
Due to these, even social media influencers are being asked to share their thoughts on the issue, including lifestyle content creator Kryz Uy.
Answering to one of the comments on her Instagram, the vlogger mom said, "[I'm] definitely angry and disappointed."
She further stated, “I am an honest taxpayer and work hard to support my family. Seeing the ghost projects on the news and how the people behind it are accumulating luxury cars and private jets- nakakagalit talaga.
“We dont have plans to do a podcast anytime soon bec unfortunately being a mom of 3 takes a lot of my time. But my stand is clear- all for transparency and hopefully something will come out of this and di lang mawala with another issue.”

Kryz's statement came after her husband, celebrity entrepreneur Slater Young, clarified that he never benefited from any government project.
The 2012 Pinoy Big Brother winner is currently involved in the construction business as he owns Litecrete Philippines and is the CEO of a real estate development company in Cebu, the Monterrazas Prime.
"I do not have any government projects," Slater posted on his Instagram story recently.
