After celebrating her Gold Play Button award, content creator and lifestyle vlogger Kryz Uy took to the community section of her YouTube channel to warn her subscribers against scammers.
The wife of former actor Slater Young provided a screenshot of the modus of these scammers to trick people by telling them they won a certain prize.
Kryz explained, “There's a fake account leaving replies on the comments to my videos!”
She added, “IT'S A SCAM! Please do not fall for it. They will ask you to pay shipping fee for winning a prize. This is a textbook scam you can learn more about by searching for “Text me on Telegram Scam.”
This year, several personalities have also informed the public about their fake social media accounts including Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, chef-YouTuber Ninong Ry, and Miss Universe Philippines 2022 titleholder Celeste Cortesi.
