Nakausap ng iGMA si Ryza about her theater experience, and we also got feedback from LJ Reyes who watched the play.
Tanghalang Pilipino with the cooperation of GMA Artist Center mounted a trilogy of short plays this month that features the talents of StarStruck 2 grand winners Ryza Cenon and Mike Tan. Nakausap ng iGMA si Ryza about her theater experience, and we also got feedback from LJ Reyes na napanood 'yung play. Text by Jason John S. Lim. Additional Interview by Loretta Ramirez. Ryza Cenon is happy na nakapag-theater siya. She, together with
Mike Tan, is the first batch of GMA Artist Center talents to undergo the theater experience with the help of Tanghalang Pilipino. And she is proud sa kanyang na-accomplish. "Kasi 'yung pinag-paguran mo, may kinalabasan."

The road has not been easy for Ryza though. "Kasi last year, ni-rehearse lang 'yung lines -- lines lang. Wala pang blocking, wala pa 'yung mga props -- wala pa lahat yun! Nung bumalik ngayong year, tinuloy siya, may blocking, at iba pa." But why exactly has the road not been easy for Ryza?
In her defense, Ryza says naging very busy raw ang kanyang sched at the start of the year. "Maraming [kailangan puntahan], may guest [appearances]," and let's not forget the inclusion of her character sa
Gagambino.
After the limited run of
Kutsilyo, Pamaypay and Yantok, Ryza reveals to us na may chance daw na dalhin abroad ang show.
Tinanong namin si Ryza why not silang dalawa ni Mike ang ipadala abroad for the play. "Patay tayo diyan." Aminado si Ryza that neither of them are exceptional actors.
Kaya naman going back to her experience, masasabi ni Ryza na ibang-iba talaga ang theater sa TV, especially after juggling the two ng sabay. "Sobrang hirap!"
Pero when iGMA asks
LJ Reyes about the play, mukha namang naging maayos ang pag-portray -- ni Mike Tan.
Ginaganoon namin."
Will Tanghalang Pilipino and Artist Center restage the play? Sana! Para naman makanood 'yung ibang fans nina Ryza and Mike right?
