Kuya Germs debuted in showbiz as a comedian, and eventually tried his luck in the different fields of the entertainment world. He landed several television serials, played a variety of roles for movies and became a part of many other artists lives as he led the very successful variety and talent show for stars,
That’s Entertainment.

That’s Entertainment” he explains.
That’s Entertainment aired on the GMA Network for ten years, launching the careers of most of today’s brightest stars. For someone who has the eye for spotting talent, Kuya Germs shares, “pag nakikita kong masipag 'yung bata at saka talagang may talent sya eh talagang ako mismo ang magpu-pursige, talagang tutulungan at tutulungan ko.”
The proud Father of the Stars now recounts his fond memories with his babies as he looks on the roster of the successful showbiz personalities he has molded, some of which are even internationally acclaimed.
“Ang daming galing sa
That’s Enertainment talaga, na hindi man dito sumikat eh sa ibang bansa naman matunog ang pangalan” he shares. “Nandyan si Lea Salonga,
Billy Crawford, Jon Joven,
Ara Mina,
Rufa Mae Quinto, Ruffa Gutierrez, Manilyn Reynes,
Francis Magalona,
Janno Gibbs, Sheryl Cruz, Jean Garcia,
Jojo Alejar” he enumerates.
Wait, There’s More
That’s Entertainment’s final episodes aired in 1996, but this did not mean the end for Kuya Germs. Although he admits being saddened that the show had to bid its goodbye, he claims that it still makes him proud to hear people asking him about his popular show.

A year later, Kuya Germs was back in GMA with a new show,
Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman. “Kaya ako nag-pursiging manatili dito sa GMA ay dahil may gusto akong patunayan” he said in an interview over LsFm.
Running for 12 years now, Kuya Germs supports 24 young talents through
Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman.
Kuya Germs continues to dream big for the Philippine entertainment industry.
The Master Showman, in fact, has started with his big projects for the industry as a Paradise of Stars dwells in the Mowell Fund Compound, and the Philippines’ Walk of Fame in Eastwood City, Libis, recently celebrated its anniversary. And I hope na someday ay makapagdagdag pa ako ng napalarami pang pangalan” he says.

As Kuya Germs remains as an inspiration to the stars today, he shares them his secret to success. “Ipakita mo 'yung pagiging totoo mong tao.
