“It was 12 midnight and I thought I was dreaming!” writes Kuya Kim Atienza after getting surprised by his eldest child, Jose.
Kuya Kim Atienza is one happy father as his child, Jose, recently returned to Manila for his university spring break.
As seen in his latest Instagram video, Jose went inside the Kapuso television host's bedroom, opened the table lamp, and gently woke up his dad. After taking off his sleep mask, it took a few seconds for Kuya Kim to realize that his son is right in front of him.
In a surprised tone, he said in the video, “Oh my god. Jose. Oh my gosh.” The Dapat Alam Mo! host gave his firstborn a warm embrace right after.
He added, “It's a dream. Jose's home.”
Kuya Kim captioned his post, “Jose surprised me by coming home for university spring break! It was 12 midnight and I thought I was dreaming! You are a blessing dear son! (video by @feliciaatienza).”
Celebrities and personalities such as Dominic Roque, Sam YG, Donita Rose, and Karen Davila expressed their love and happiness for the two in the comments section.

In December 2021, Kuya Kim and Jose spent some post-Christmas quality time together in the US, where they explored the campus of Tufts University and even went cycling together.
Aside from Jose, Kuya Kim and Felicia, who tied the knot in 2002, are also blessed with two daughters: Eliana and Emmanuelle.
