On Monday, December 2, TV host and Trivia King Kuya Kim Atienza renewed his contract with GMA Network.

Present at the event are GMA President and CEO Gilberto Duavit Jr., GMA Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdez, GMA Public Affairs first Vice President Nessa Valdellon, GMA Integrated News Vice President Michelle Seva, Consultant for GMA Entertainment Group, Darling De Jesus-Bordegon, and Kuya Kim's manager Noel Ferrer.

“All I can say is I'm so honored and so humbled na kailangan niyo pa ako at this point in time. Ako po, I'm so inspired,” Kuya Kim said as he faced the press people present at the event.

He added, “My stay here in GMA, I'm just having so much fun. I'm feeling so relevant and I'm feeling so used in a good way and for me to continue for this coming three years, I look forward to it the most. I know these three years will pass so fast again like the past three years, and we shall be sitting in this desk again and I will be signing another three-year contract again.”

In his speech, Mr. Duavit expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the “continued trust” Kuya Kim gave to the network.

“Malaking bagay sa amin at kinasasaya namin ang lagdaan natin ngayon bagamat ito ay maituturing din na parang formality lamang kasi sa napakaikling panahon, naging Kapusong puro si Kim,” he said.

Mr. Duavit added, “We're very proud to have you grace our programs, the presence on the channel has been very pronounced at sa lawak ng manonood, your audience base's sheer size and diversity, is something that adds a lot to the channel or the network.”

Atty. Annette, meanwhile, expressed how grateful the Network is to Kuya Kim for renewing his contract and recalled how the TV personality received a sign from God while deciding whether to join GMA.

“Back in 2021, you asked God for a sign and isa ako du'n sa mga naging sign dahil bigla daw may nag-abot ng phone kay Kim na hindi ako, and ako 'yung nasa phone. Kaya nga sabi niya, 'Is this the sign?' I think kamay ng Diyos kaya nandito ka sa GMA and that you're a Kapuso, so thank you, Kuya Kim, and praise the Lord,” she said.

Kuya Kim joined the network in 2021 and became one of the hosts of the talk show Mars Pa More, and the news magazine show Dapat Alam Mo on GTV. He currently hosts the 24 Oras segment 'Kuya Kim, Ano Na?', the noontime variety game show TiktoClock and the infotainment show titled Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim.
