The “Kuya ng Bayan,” more popularly known as Kim Atienza, shared a heartfelt appreciation post for his “kumpare,” Dingdong Dantes, on social media yesterday, October 6.

Kuya Kim posted a series of photos that showed his great moments with the Kapuso Primetime King such as their travels and outdoor activities together.

He wrote, “A post of appreciation to a dear friend and brother @dongdantes. There are so many roads we traveled, running, cycling, and motorcycling together. I'd like to thank you for the guidance, the fun and the loyal friendship you've shown me these years.

“Here's to many more miles as I take this new fork on my road in full faith. Salamat Kumpare. Iba ka talaga.”

Before ending his post, Kuya Kim added a note about one of his marathons with Dingdong and wrote, “(The Berlin Marathon we ran together was almost the same time 2 years ago.)”

Shortly after its upload, the Amazing Earth host replied that he's looking forward to more adventures with the newest Kapuso, both on and off cam.

“Solid memories, Kuya. Looking forward to more adventures on and off cam with you.. Lalu na't Kapuso ka na. Cheers!,” Dingdong wrote.

As of this writing, Kuya Kim's appreciation post for his beloved friend has reached over 18,000 likes on Instagram.

On October 4, Dingdong penned a heartwarming welcome message for his beloved “Kuya,” who became an official Kapuso on the said date, to commemorate the latter's new journey in GMA-7.

After being a certified Kapuso, Kuya Kim is set to appear in three programs under GMA Network, namely, 24 Oras, Mars Pa More, and GTV's latest newsmagazine show Dapat Alam Mo!
