
Kylie Padilla finds more confidence in the positive comments about their new teledrama titled My Father's Wife, which will air on GMA Afternoon Prime starting June 23.
This was one of the programs showcased during the GMA Afternoon Prime Media Day held on Monday, June 16.
In her interview with 24 Oras, Kylie said the initial feedback from the press about My Father's Wife motivates her.
“When I heard from the press and everybody na very promising daw 'yung show namin. It's nice to know, kasi alam ko maganda 'yung pinaghirapan namin show," the Kapuso actress said in 24 Oras interview.
Joining Kylie in this project are seasoned TV and movie actor Gabby Concepcion, Jak Roberto, and Kazel Kinouchi.
The cast also includes Maureen Larrazabal, Sue Prado, Andre Paras, Shan Vesagas, Caitlyn Stave, Arlene Muhlach and the special participation of Snooky Serna.
In the same interview, Gabby said about their upcoming show, “Abangan n'yo ang aming mga susunod na pagsasama dahil meron po kaming gagawin and that's a surprise.”
He also shared that the story of My Father's Wife is relatable because he knows someone who was in a similar situation like his character named Robert.
“Meron akong kaibigan kasi na parang similar 'yung situation nila. Nung tragic nangyari 'yun kay Snooky [Serna], kay Minda. Yung nag-alaga sa kaniya talagang nagkatuluyan sila.” the actor explained.

For their part, Kazel and Jak are equally thrilled about the good early reception of their afternoon series.
Kazel noted, “Excited parang ang bilis ng panahon magi-air na agad kami and I can't wait for you guys to meet our characters."
Likewise, Jak said, "Nakakataba ng puso, grabe 'yung support ng mga tao. 'Yung mga compliment nila sa show, so lalo kami na-excite."
