Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica recently celebrated their son Alas's first birthday and Christening.

Proud mommy Kylie then posted a photo of her with Alas on Instagram and confessed the realities of being a breastfeeding mama, just in time for breastfeeding month.

You know that look your baby gives you when your little one wants to feed? how she or he pulls down your top and tells you FEED ME kahit pa maraming tao sa paligid? And you remember how before you got pregnant nahihiya hiya ka pang makita ng iba ung katawan mo, ngaun wala ka ng pakialam kasi mas importanteng mabusog ung anak mo? And you know how baby teeth are growing but we are still breastfeeding so sometimes may konting kagat here and there? Ngaun sanay ka na sa monster baby teeth biting! Remember SLEEP? Yeah it's still a thing. Oh the joys of breastfeeding! And It's breastfeeding month so let's celebrate the joys and ouches of nursing! I said I would only BF you for 1 year and once again I find myself rethinking my decision. It's more about the bond, that I can't let go of. Apart from the struggles, breastfeeding is one of my favourite things about being mama. Even though sometimes it has been one of the most frustrating at the same time. Happy breastfeeding month to all mamas! You're all doing great! Though a whole night's sleep would sound great, don't think Alas will allow it just yet. #breastfeedingmonth #happyworldbreastfeedingweek

Kylie also noted how breastfeeding Alas brought her happiness.

And it's breastfeeding month so let's celebrate the joys and ouches of nursing! I said I would only BF you for 1 year and once again I find myself rethinking my decision.
