Kylie Padilla candidly admitted that watching Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre is bittersweet for her.
In an interview with Nelson Canlas for GMA Integrated News Interviews, Kylie related what was going through her mind while watching the new telefantasya on GMA Prime.
“Bittersweet kasi, siyempre, I know my role in the whole series. Super ganda ng mangyayari kay Amihan especially when it comes to the birth of the new Sang'gres. Kasama si Amihan dun.”
“But then also sad, because patay pa rin si Amihan and she is still an Ivtre. Sad lang ako every time na I watch it and I see my three sisters nung wala si Amihan. Heartbroken every time I watched it.”

Kylie then recalled her decision to leave Encantadia in 2017 because she got pregnant with her eldest son with ex-husband Aljur Abrenica, Alas Joaquin.
“Sobrang pinaghirapan ko para lang magustuhan 'yung Amihan ko, 'yung version ni Amihan. And then at the height, I got pregnant.
“It was unexpected and I really didn't know how else to handle it. And siguro nagulat din, siyempre, 'yung mga creatives, the writers. How to adjust the story, sobrang malaking, not just regret. Feeling ko kailangan ko pa bumawi. Sana 'yun 'yung expectation ko dito."
She also noted, "Dream ko mapanood na kumpleto kami na hindi patay si Amihan. Pambawi lang sa mga kapatid ko. It's really painful to see them not complete, just because of me.”
Nelson Canlas then asked Kylie: “Hindi na kita natanong nun because you were pregnant. Ano 'yung naging reaksyon nila noon. 'Yung tatlong Sang'gre [sina Glaiza, Gabbi and Sanya]?
She replied, "Actually, we never talked about it. Siyempre, 'Congratulations. Happy for you,' ganiyan. Pero never namin napagusapan. How they felt after I left, never.” Kylie said.
She added, “Siyempre, ako dun, may fear ako na baka may disappointment.”
