Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla tweeted a reminder to the public that despite their fame, celebrities are human, too.

Kylie made her statement on X (formerly Twitter), saying that she wanted to “respond to this sarcastically,” but she won't as she also respects the people involved.

Instead, she gave a short reminder to the public, “Let's not forget that they are human too and need to process their pain.”

She added that respecting them without “adding fuel to the fire” would make it healthier for the people involved.

Kylie finished her post, “Class can't be bought.”

Her reaction came after a netizen mentioned Kylie in her post while discussing the breakup of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

“Nadadamay tuloy si @kylienicolep dahil sa kagag*han nung pinsan niya. I will never hesitate to defend her,” the netizen tweeted.

However, Kylie responded that it's more important to protect one's mental health.

“Don't get into anything that might disturb your peace,” she responded.

On Thursday, November 30, Kathryn and Daniel confirmed their breakup in two separate posts on Instagram.

“Chapter closed,” Kathryn captioned her post, a series of pictures including one of her and Daniel.

Her post included pictures of text explaining what transpired in their relationship and how they started “drifting apart for a while now.” Kathryn, however, clarified that she's grateful for the love and will always cherish what she had with Daniel.

“I hope this finally helps all of us move forward. I won't be entertaining questions regarding this anymore. Thank you for understanding,” she ended her caption.

In a separate Instagram post, Daniel confirmed their breakup, saying that it was a blessing for him to love and be loved by Kathryn.

“Ang mga alaala natin ay [lagi] kong baon sa aking puso at magiging liwanag sa mga madidilim kong araw,” he posted.
