Kylie Padilla: "A great leader is a man who can lead his family."
Kylie Padilla has a reminder to the public as people from all walks of life filed their certificate of candidacies for different positions in the upcoming 2025 mid-terms election.
On Facebook, Kylie, who currently portrays Hannah in GMA Prime series Asawa Ng Asawa Ko, shared her thoughts on what constitutes a good public official.
She wrote, "A good indicator of a great leader is a man who can lead his family. That is his first unit, his first community."
"A man who raises his kids with good values, integrity and humility. A man loyal to his wife and remains true despite obstacles. A man who has a heart close to God.
"Service is about what you can do for others, not what they can do for you."
Based on the data provided by the Commission on Election (COMELEC), 18,200 national and local elective positions will be decided upon by an estimated 68 million registered voters on May 12, 2025.
Kylie's ex-husband, Aljur Abrenica, is among the celebrities who filed their certificate of candidacy. He is running for councilor in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Aljur is the father of Kylie's sons, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo.
