Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla is excited for her upcoming family drama Buena Familia, where she will play the character of Celine Buena.

Her love interest in the series is Martin del Rosario whom she considers as a talented actor. “Magaling kasi si Martin,  so mararamdaman mo ‘yung binibigay niyang emosyon sa ‘yo.”

The Kapuso actress is thankful for this project and is taking this opportunity to focus on her craft instead of her recent break up with ex-boyfriend Matt Henares. 

“I’m being blessed with a lot of work so sabi ko kaysa sa isipin ko man ‘yun, focus [na lang] muna [ako] sa trabaho,” she told Aubrey Carampel on Balitanghali.

Meanwhile, 90’s tandem Bobby Andrews and Angelu de Leon will once again team up as Mr. and Mrs. Buena.

“I’m so happy kasi after 20 years in this industry, I still get the chance to work with Angelu. Sa totoo lang sa 20 years ko dito, masasabi ko siguro na si Angelu ang pinakamagaang kasama,” the former matinee idol stated.

The veteran actress agreed with her co-love team partner, “The nice thing about it is people still enjoy watching us together kaya siguro talagang bumabalik pa rin kami into each other’s arms.”

Buena Familia is set to air this month on GMA Afternoon Prime, replacing The Half Sisters.
