Kylie Verzosa stayed tight-lipped about her love life.

At the press conference about her upcoming movie titled Elevator, Kylie was asked about the photos of her with a foreigner that circulated online recently.

However, instead of answering, the 32-year-old actress simply gave a sweet smile.

Then, she said, “I would really wanna put things private because we both come from two different industries. He respects mine and I respect him, so I really wanna keep things private.”

It was late last year when Kylie admitted that she's already in a relationship, but chose to keep it private.

She was so private that when her photos with a non-showbiz guy circulated online Kylie teased showbiz mongers with a series of Instagram photos with a caption: “fine, jowa reveal!”

The series of photos, which were taken during her trip to France, ended with a picture of her and football superstar David Beckham.

Meanwhile, on the movie Elevator, Kylie teamed up with fellow actor Paulo Avelino.

The actress said working with him was easy because they have become friends after previously working in the movie Kasal, starring Bea Alonzo and Derek Ramsay.

She said, “Wala kaming ilangan, because… Well, to me we were friends before and we've been friends for a couple of years and that makes it easier for us to work as our characters, as actors

“Ang na-discover ko kay Paulo, I always found him very quiet, very mysterious. And he kept the same persona all throughout the shoot. But, I really respect him as an actor. I think he's one of the best actors out here. Yeah, very maaalaga siya sa scene and we worked together well.”

Paulo likewise said about working with Kylie again, “Hindi naman naging sobrang awkward kasi prior to shooting the film, marami kaming script readings, workshops. So, inayos namin yung characters namin.

“Yung na-discover ko kay Kylie, kasi nag-shoot kami sa Singapore, ano talaga siya--headturner! Kumbaga, minsan nahihiya na 'kong tumabi sa kanya kasi lahat ng lalaki sa kanya nakatingin, baka mapaaway pa ako.”

Written and directed by Philip King, Elevator will show us that love is sometimes found in the most unexpected places.

Paulo is Jared, an elevator attendant at a hotel-casino complex in Singapore. He has ambitious dreams, so he is also developing an innovative app for Filipino migrant workers. He pitches his concept to affluent businessmen he encounters in the elevator, hoping to entice them into investment. Despite his relentless efforts, he always gets rejected.

Until he meets Byron (Adrian Pang), a Singaporean businessman who expresses interest in being his investor. But before sealing the deal, he wants Jared to enhance his proposal with Bettina, another OFW who works as Byron's secretary.

Kylie plays Bettina, who initially seems ill-tempered and dismissive towards Jared. They spend a lot of time working together and soon, they grow closer. They deepen their connection as they share their hopes and dreams.

Jared finds himself falling for her, even if Bettina once reminded him that he is not allowed to fall in love with her. Bettina also happens to be Byron's lover, that's why. Jared is suddenly at a crossroads of love and ambition: will he fight for his blossoming love for Bettina or his dreams of a better future?

Joining Kylie and Paulo in the cast are Chai Fonacier, Shrey Bhargava, Shahid Nasheer, Shaun Lim, Rishi Vadrevu, and Amy Cheng.

Elevator arrives in cinemas nationwide on April 24.
