Ibinahagi ni Kyline Alcantara ang pagkakaiba ng fashion sense niya at ng karakter niyang si Shari sa 'Beauty Empire.'
High-class fashion ang ipinapakita ng karakter ni Kyline Alcantara na si Shari sa GMA Prime at VIU Philippines series na Beauty Empire. Ngunit ayon sa aktres, malayong-malayo ito sa nakasanayan niyang pananamit.
Sa panayam sa kanya ni Nelson Canlas para sa 24 Oras Weekend, sinabi ni Kyline na na-e-enjoy niya ang pagpapaganda nila ng real-life best friend at co-star na si Barbie Forteza sa kanilang serye.
“It's okay to be extravagant. Pagdating sa outfit, more is more. When it comes to Shari, heels lang palagi and dapat preppy and always fashionable, colorful,” sabi ni Kyline.
Pero sa likod ng camera, comfort over fashion ang style ng aktres na malayo sa kanyang karakter.
“T-shirt, jeans, sneakers. Nakadepende po talaga sa mood ko kung ano 'yung outfit ko for that day kasi may mga times na I just want to be sporty, may mga times na I want to be preppy, may mga times na I just want to be super comfortable. Nothing really kikay,” sabi ng aktres.

Samantala, kapag pinag-uusapan naman ang fashion, una sa listahan ng mga Pinoy ang Global Fashion Icon na si Heart Evangelista.
Guest editor siya ng isang fashion magazine sa Singapore, bagay na ikina-proud niya dahil sa Pinoy representation na dala nila. Kasama niya kasi ang ilang Filipino stylists, fashion designers, at artists.
“It's a big deal for me, especially that it's to be celebrated elsewhere, and then you bring that back to the Philippines. I'm very proud 'cause I really worked hard [for it.] It's really sharing that spotlight with Filipino talent and artists,” sabi ni Heart sa hiwalay na panayam kay Nelson.
Kitang-kita naman ang pagiging stylish ni Heart sa pagdalo nila ng asawang si Senate President Chiz Escudero sa mga nagdaang State of the Nation Address o SONA. Ngunit aniya, hindi niya kailanman itinuring bilang isang fashion event ang naturang kaganapan.
“I think there's a time and place for these things, and SONA is truly not about fashion,” sabi ni Heart
