Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit actress Kyline Alcantara penned a message after being acknowledged as Most Promising Young Actor of the Millennium at the 3rd Asia Pacific Luminare Awards held last January 30 at Vivore Hotel in Filinvest Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
On Instagram, Kyline looked back at her journey as a six-year-old girl who went to Manila to reach her dreams.
"First of all, thank you so much Asia Pacific Luminare for this honor. It is with a humble heart that I accept this honor," she started.
"That six year old kid who left her hometown in Bicol na sumakay sa truck para makarating ng Manila, para abutin ang kanyang pangarap para sa kanya at para sa pamilya niya, would never imagined receiving this award.
"'Yung batang 'yun ay punong puno ng pangarap. She just want to work and improve her God given talent.
"It's enough for her that her mother believed in her. This award is a bonus!"
After thanking her fans, Kyline asked everyone to be a light to everyone.
"Lastly, be a luminare, a light, to everyone - let that little girl or boy chase their dreams and who knows in few years time sila na ang nakatayo dito, accepting this award," she ended.
Kapuso actor Miguel Tanfelix was also acknowledged as Most Promising Young Actor of the Millennium.
Meanwhile, Chinito Heartthrob David Licauco and Jason Abalos were awarded as the Most Promising Actor and Hottest Actor of the Millennium, respectively.
