KZ Tandingan

KZ Tandingan shares a reflection of her successful concert and new chapter as an independent artist.

Filipina singer KZ Tandingan penned a heartfelt message online that left some fans surprised.

On Instagram, KZ shared a meaningful reflection following her and her husband TJ Monterde's successful concert, “In Between.”

“Thank you to everyone who became part of the historic four-night concert series at the Araneta Coliseum for In Between. That experience will always be one of the biggest milestones of my life. It was loud, historic, and overwhelming in the best way,” KZ wrote.

Alongside her gratitude, however, the singer also made an important announcement.

“But in the middle of that big moment, something very personal was unfolding too. With the love and support of my first home, Star Music, my management, my family, and my ever-supportive husband, I've stepped into a new season. I am now officially an INDEPENDENT ARTIST,” she said.

KZ admitted feeling both excitement and fear as she navigates the industry on her own. Still, she said she chose courage, growth, and self-trust.

The artist also shared that her performance of “Sinong Magmamahal Sa 'Kin?” during the concert carried special meaning, as it marked her first independent release.

“I wrote it for my sister — and for anyone who's always been the strong one. The one who holds everything together, even when they're quietly breaking. It's for the people who rarely get asked if they're okay. The ones who carry so much but still show up with love. And deep down, they're just hoping someone will see them too,” she shared.

“If this song finds you in a quiet, tired place, I hope it reminds you that your strength doesn't make you less deserving of care. You are allowed to be held, too.”

KZ marked this new chapter with hope for growth despite fear and the courage to face every doubt along the way.

“Thank you for staying. Thank you for walking with me through every in between,” she added.

The post quickly flooded with supportive messages from followers, including her husband TJ himself. Other personalities such as Enchong Dee, Jason Dy, John Prats, Morissette, and Yeng Constantino also sent their love for KZ in the comments.

KZ and TJ first tied the knot in August 2020. They held their second wedding celebration in August 2023.

On stage, they are known as a power couple for their hits, including their duet song “Palagi.”

After their successful In Between concert in the Philippines, the powerhouse duo is set to bring their music across North America.
