KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde dedicated their second wedding to their family and friends who could not make it during their nuptials in 2020.
Kapamilya singer KZ Tandingan proudly shared on Instagram that she walked down the aisle again last week to marry the man of her dreams, TJ Monterde, to celebrate their third wedding anniversary.
The "Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako" hitmaker got engaged with her fellow singer in December 2019.
They exchanged “I Do's” in August 2020 in Batangas at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns.
Mrs. Monterde then explained that their second nuptial was for their parents, other family members, and friends, who unfortunately failed to attend due to the strict health protocols being implemented three years ago.
KZ said, “btw, we got married. Again”
She continued, “As you all remember, we held our first wedding three years ago at the height of the pandemic, and because of flight restrictions, our parents and siblings couldn't attend. It was a bittersweet celebration because we would've loved for them to be there but it was impossible.”
“So, TJ and I promised another wedding to honor our parents by giving us away in person and our siblings and closest friends as witnesses.
"Pag-Ibig ating punla," reads the embroidery of the Simula lyrics on our wedding barongs. By sowing that love seed within us first, we pay homage to those who taught us to love. We want to thank all our friends and family for being the most supportive!"
Based on reports, some of the celebrities who witnessed this lovely ceremony include Darren Espanto, Erik Santos, Kyla, and Catherine Rem.
