Lapillus Chanty misses being an actress and hopes to work with Kapuso actresses Marian Rivera and Zonia Mejia.

K-pop group Lapillus member Chanty dazzled on stage and showcased her acting skills in various Philippine shows before her singing debut.

Chanty admitted she misses being on the set and yearns to develop her skills.

In an interview with Aubrey Carampell on 24 Oras, the Filipina-Argentine artist expressed her longing for acting and her eagerness to participate in future projects.

Chanty also shared her dream of collaborating with the Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera and her close friend Zonia Mejia, who is currently seen on Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law.

"Syempre, si Miss Marian Rivera po talaga 'yung pangarap ko and, of course, 'yung friend ko, si Zonia Mejia. We've been friends po for a very long time, so it will be very nice po to work with her also," she said.

Chanty expressed her desire to do acting again, "Kasi siyempre, ang tagal-tagal na rin po since 'yung last acting experience ko, project ko. So, I have to refresh my mind and everything."

Now a part of the Sparkle family, Chanty also revealed she's busy preparing for the annual GMA Gala. As a first-time attendee, Chanty eagerly anticipates meeting fellow Kapuso stars, which she admitted to being a fan herself.

"Isa sasama ko na rin 'yung pagka-fangirl ko po sa GMA artists. Gusto ko pong magpa-picture sa lahat po ng kilala ko pong celebrities sa GMA. I'll take the opportunity," she excitedly shared.

On June 20, Chanty's K-pop group Lapillus celebrated their second anniversary since their 2022 debut. Although the group is currently on break, they still managed to commemorate the occasion online with their fans.

"I'm glad that they got to rest and be with their family. Pero 'yung nga lang, of course, there's a side of me na sayang kasi hindi ko sila kasama na mag-celebrate. Pero I'm happy naman na mga Lapis [fandom of the group], sa social media, sobrang supportive nila and they keep sending their love," she said.

While focusing on her career as a Sparkle star, Chanty also looks forward to a future and grander comeback with her group.
