Going through a pregnancy is a challenging moment for any mom. Aside from making sure that their growing baby is healthy, they have to deal with a number of physical changes too, which for some, can be overwhelming.
Former beauty queen Lara Quigaman on her recent Instagram post talked about what women goes through while carrying a baby.
Lara Quigaman surprises Marco Alcaraz with special video for Father's Day
The wife of actor Marco Alcaraz enumerated some of the drastic changes that happen to a woman's body while pregnant.
She shared, “26 weeks and 3 days today.
“When you're pregnant, you glow they said... Glow?!!! Glow with stretchmarks? My dark armpits and neck doesn't seem to be glowing. 'Yung double chin ko at braso, sure! Glowing with extra fat!”
Lara, who is pregnant with her third child, is feeling grateful for her husband who always reminds her how beautiful she is despite feeling insecure.
“Bakit yung iba ang ganda at payat at kinis pa rin? As moms we tend to compare ourselves with others and that causes us to feel insecure and then sad.
“Buti na lang atik-atik ang asawa ko @marcoalcaraz sinasabihan pa rin akong maganda at sexy kahit pumuputok na ako.
“And thank God, He looks at our heart and not in our physical appearance and in His Eyes, we are beautiful and loved. Thank You Jesus... Cheer up Mamma!” Lara added.
Marco Alcaraz and Lara Quigaman already have two sons named Noah and Tobias.
