Former Gilas Pilipinas player Larry Fonacier is set to begin a new journey, after playing professionally in the PBA for 17 years.

The Ateneo de Manila University alum announced on December 31, 2022 that his contract with the NLEX Road Warrior had officially expired.

Meanwhile, his team announced via a Facebook post last week that Larry will become their newest team manager.

The post read: “A new role awaits 7x PBA Champion and 2013 FIBA Asia Championship Silver Medalist Larry Fonacier after retiring from professional basketball.

“The Baby-Faced Assassin is now Team Manager of the NLEX Road Warriors.”

Fans and netizens took to social media to congratulate Fonacier on his new appointment.
