Isang transgender woman ang magiging pambato ng Spain para sa Miss Universe 2018. Ano ang reaksiyon ni newly signed Kapuso star at beauty queen na si Laura Lehmann dito?

Usap-usapan ngayon ang pagkakapanalo ni Angela Ponce sa pageant industry. Si Angela ay ang kauna-unahang transgender woman na kinoronahan ng Miss Universe-Spain para mag-compete sa Miss Universe 2018.

Sa isang panayam kay Laura Lehmann ay inilahad niya na sinusuportahan niya ang pagsali ni Angela sa beauty pageant.

Ani Laura, "To be honest, I see no problem with it. I am actually very proud that Miss Universe accepts candidates like that because if she feels that she's a woman, then she's a woman and she should be allowed to join pageants that are for women."

Hindi umano ito magiging issue sa Miss Universe at para kay Laura ito ay magandang platform para i-raise ang awareness sa LGBT community. 

"I think very accepting 'yung Miss Universe. Very ready na 'yung atmosphere at ang mga tao para matanggap ang isang case na ganon. I think it will be fine. If anything I think it will be a good platform for her to spread awareness for the LGBT community."
