Turning 18 is a focal point in everyone's lives and it signifies different things for different individuals. Summit Books, in collaboration with the bright minds of today, explores that delicate period of transition in their newest release aptly titled, #ComingofAge.

The publishing company enlisted various writers to contribute short stories, poems, and more that explains what turning 18 means for them. Some of the book's celebrity contributors are Lauren Young, Benjamin Alves, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

Turning 18 may mean finally being adult enough to take care of yourself. It’s when you can finally move out of your parents' home and start a life of your own. But sometimes, it’s not that simple for everyone. We asked celebrities, authors, poets, editors, comic book artists and YouTubers to write about what turning 18 means for them. The result is a powerful collection of poems, short stories, song lyrics and comics from Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Lauren Young, Benjamin Alves, Basti Artadi, Quark Henares, Manix Abrera, Lia Cruz and many more. Featuring hauntingly beautiful illustrations by artist Clare Magno and photographs shot against the beautiful landscape of The Grove by Rockwell.
