A powerhouse lineup of Filipino talent is taking center stage in DreamWorks Animation's newest project, Forgotten Island. Tony Award winner Lea Salonga, Filipino-American singer H.E.R., and Filipina actress Liza Soberano are joining forces to voice lead characters in the highly anticipated animated adventure.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film's cast also includes Dave Franco, Filipino-Canadian actor Manny Jacinto, and Jenny Slate, adding even more star power to the ensemble.
Directed and written by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, Forgotten Island will be released by Universal Pictures and is slated to hit theaters in September next year.
