
Lee Ji-hoon has been recently accused of domestic violence by his wife.
The said issue was confirmed by Lee Ji-hoon's management, Y1 Entertainment.
Lee Ji-hoon's agency said in a statement on Friday, August 15, that the actor's wife did call and report an incident to the police, which was later said to be not a “serious” one.
Y1 Entertainment stated in an official press release, “Today's reports regarding the actor in his 40s refer to our talent, Lee Ji-hoon. During a marital dispute, the police were called to the scene by his spouse. After reviewing the statements and facts, it was determined that the incident was not serious."
“There was no assault, and his wife has clearly stated that she does not wish to press charges, so the case is currently in the process of being closed...,” the agency added.
According to Soompi, the police said that they received a phone call on July 24, claiming that Lee assaulted his wife at their residence in Gyeonggi Province in South Korea.
Meanwhile, the actor, who is now in his 40s, signed an exclusive contract with Y1 Entertainment in August 2024.
The South Korean actor is well-known for his roles in Hospital Playlist (2020, 2021), Toxic (2022), Sweet and Sour: 7510 (2023), A Killer Paradox (2024), and more.
