Korean actor Lee Kwang-soo has wrapped up filming his finale episode for the iconic comedy variety show Running Man.
Soompi reported on May 24, “Today, Lee Kwang-soo is participating in his last recording.” It was also revealed that a replacement member had yet to be discussed and for the meantime, the show would be carried out without any change in the lineup of members for the time being.
Lee Kwang-soo's agency King Kong Starship announced on April 27 that he would be stepping down from Running Man in order to focus on taking care of his physical and mental health due to his injury from an accident last year.
Running Man's network SBS had also released a statement saying, “We are unfortunately faced with a beautiful goodbye, but we ask the viewers to show warm support and encouragement to Lee Kwang-soo and the members who made a difficult decision.”
Lee Kwang-soo's mother showed support and encouragement by celebrating her son's final episode taping and had custom-made balloons delivered on the set.
