Lee Victor couldn't hold back his emotions as he opened up about the challenges and responsibilities of being a leader.
Lee Victor broke down in tears during Thursday's episode of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
The moment came during a discussion among the boys about the house's cleanliness and concerns over Lee's leadership approach. They made sure to apologize for their earlier comments.
“'Yung mga pinag-usapan namin kanina ay para maipaliwanag namin sa isa't isa ang mga isipan namin tungkol dito. I would like to start by apologizing, I'm sorry,” said Joaquin Arce.
Iñigo Jose also expressed regret for discussing Lee without including him.
“Kanina, instead of blaming myself for the cleanliness, kasi individually naman 'yun eh, because as you being our leader parang I mentally parang put the blame on you, which hindi dapat, that's why I'm apologizing,” he said.
He added, “Ako, sorry kasi I didn't respect you as our leader. I just respected you as Lee, as my friend, kaya nag-jo-joke ako sa 'yo nang ganyan.”
After hearing his housemates' apologies, Lee also took a moment to apologize to them.
Lee opened up about the pressures of being a leader, saying, “Maybe I'll speak as a leader before being Lee muna. Never in my life have I expected na ako 'yung magiging leader, lead the house, and that put a lot of pressure on me kasi it's a first time experience. Like wala akong maisip na tao or grupo na umaasa sa 'kin to lead.”
He apologized for what he felt was his ineffective leadership. “As a leader, I think I'm not doing the leadership role well.”
Lee also expressed regret for his loud and energetic personality, though his housemates reassured him that he didn't need to apologize for it. He added that the jokes are “completely fine, kasi alam natin jokes lang 'yun.”
Overwhelmed with emotion, Lee broke down in tears, prompting the housemates to immediately give him a group hug. Later, in the Confession Room, he admitted feeling disappointed in himself.
“Hindi ko nagampanan 'yung role nang maayos as a leader, as me, as Lee, Kuya,” he said. “Nag-sorry ako. Sabi ko, I'm trying my best.”
Lee reflected on his lack of prior leadership experience, sharing, “Naiintindihan ko na 'yung mga past leaders na super hirap na role and dapat 'di binabalewala.”
Inigo also told Kuya in the Confession Room that the housemates needed to discuss the issue, noting that a “spark” happened during the conversation.
PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 airs every weeknight at 9:40 p.m., Saturdays at 6:15 p.m., and Sundays at 10:05 p.m. on GMA.
