Rising Kapuso star Lexi Gonzales shared that during quarantine she has learned to love the number one investment she has--herself.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com last December, the actress related that due to the quarantine, she had the opportunity to make time for herself, especially her wellbeing.

“This year (2020), I learned to asses [myself] more. Minsan kasi we're [too] busy doing other stuff and we're preoccupied with a lot of stuff na we forget to assess ourselves. Like, 'Okay ba ako ngayon?' or like, 'Kumusta naman 'yung mental health ko?' or like, 'Am I tired? Do I need rest? Do I need a break? How am I feeling right now? Am I happy with the people around me? Am I toxic?',” she shared.
Self-care is important for the StarStruck Season 7 First Princess but enriching the lives of the people around her is just as important. She also learned how to carefully assess every decision she makes.
“You also think if nakakaapekto ba ako sa ibang tao? Is my mindset right? Am I going in the right direction?” she added.
Moreover, it is not only her mental health Lexi wants to focus on, she's prioritizing her physical health, too.
“[I'd like to] have a healthier lifestyle like eating healthier food and exercise. Of course, serving more [in] church kasi since we're in a pandemic right now and walang chance to go to church. Since hindi pa ganoon ka-safe, plan ko bumawi next year (2021).
“My other plan is to improve my skills, to improve myself. Kasama dun 'yung going to workshops,” she said. Adding, “Pagbubutihin ko sa pag-aaral. Promise!”
Lexi is in for a great start this 2021 as she started the year taping for GMA Public Affairs's newest fantasy rom-com series My Fantastic Pag-ibig.
The drama anthology consists of six unique and compelling tales that aim to touch the viewers' imagination with love stories set in present times infused with exciting and dynamic plots.
Lexi, alongside fellow StarStruck graduate Kim De Leon, headlines its first installment titled “Love Wars.”
It follows the story of star-crossed lovers--a modern-day cupid and a dating app developer.
The cupid, played by Kim, believes dating apps only result in broken hearts and diminish people's belief in finding their true love.
To save their sanctuary, Pido tries to sabotage the progressive company of dating app called “MatchTayo,” where he will meet the dashing app developer Lovelyn, portrayed by Lexi.
Will he be able to break the cycle of finding love in the digital age?
Directed by Michael Christian Cardoz, the fantasy-romcom series is set to bring magic, laughter, and “kilig” starting January 30 on GMA News TV.
