HYBE x Geffen has announced that Lexie will no longer be part of its upcoming global girl group, Saint Satine.
In a statement, the company said the decision came after "extensive and thoughtful discussions" regarding the group's future activities.
"Thank you everyone for your love and support for SAINT SATINE. Following extensive and thoughtful discussions with Lexie regarding the group's future activities, both parties have mutually agreed to part ways," the statement read.
The label added that while Lexie will no longer continue as a member of Saint Satine or under HYBE x Geffen, it wishes her "all the best in her future endeavors."
HYBE x Geffen also asked fans to continue supporting Saint Satine as the group prepares for its official debut.
"We kindly ask for your continued support for SAINT SATINE's upcoming activities, and HxG will continue to put our full support behind the group's path to debut," it said.
Lexie also addressed the news through an Instagram Story, saying she initially believed Project Saint Satine was the right place for her.
"When I joined Project SAINT SATINE, I truly believed it was the right place for me. I was excited by the presented vision and future plans we were going to be working towards together," she wrote.
The singer expressed gratitude to HYBE x Geffen for the opportunities and experiences she gained, but shared that both sides ultimately agreed to move forward separately.
"While it feels heavy-hearted, I have found peace in that some things in life aren't destined. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the team, but we have different ways of operating, and that's okay!" she said.
Lexie also encouraged fans to continue supporting Saint Satine, describing members Emily, Samara, and Sakura as her "forever sisters."
"Now I'm on my next adventure! My debut and future might look different than what you expected but stay tuned! I'm not done yet," she added.
Saint Satine, formerly known as Prelude, is HYBE and Geffen Records' second global girl group. The two companies partnered in 2021 and previously launched the global girl group KATSEYE in 2023.
