Former To The Top contestant and vlogger Lharby Policarpio is mourning the death of his dad Apolinario Policarpio. Lharby announced his father's death last Thursday, April 25.

The content creator found out that his father passed away while on a work trip in Siargao last week.

He shared on Instagram, “With great sadness, we announce the passing of my beloved father Apolinario Policarpio around 9:00 am yesterday, April 24, 2024.

“My father passed while I was in Siargao for a quick work trip. It hurts me as I prayed and hoped that you'd still be fine and waited for me till I got back to Manila. Took the first flight in the morning and was able to arrive back in Manila today, thanks for the understanding @americantouristerph fam.”

Although his father's death is devastating, Lharby knows that he is in a good place already.

“We love you daddy! I know you're tired and you fought for so long. You're in a better place now. No more pain Daddy. I may cry for awhile but I'll be okay. I love you!”
