Sparkle artist and singer Liana Castillo released her first single, “Bebegurl,” under GMA Music late last month.
In an interview with ATM (Adventure. Taste. Moments), The Clash 2023 first runner-up said she felt “super excited, super happy, and super blessed” for finally being able to release her single.
Liana also shared some facts about her new track and said the lyrics “really hits home.”
“Kasi lagi po akong sinasabihan ng mga magulang ko na pag-aaral muna, sarili mo muna bago ang love or pagjojowa kasi it can wait and darating na lang yan sa buhay mo,” she explained.
Liana said the title of her song came from her The Clash moniker, “Baby Girl Biritera.”
When asked if there will be a follow-up single or album after “Bebegurl,” Lianna said she is “wishing” and “hoping” for one.
“Bebegurl” clinched the top three spot on the iTunes Philippines Chart on its first day.
The song was composed by Mae Orgasan and Caleb Hinanay, mixed and arranged by Seth Delfin, and produced by Caleb Hinanay.
