K-pop girl group LIGHTSUM has once again grazed the presence of our Kapuso as they ride on the famous Never Have I Ever drinking game.

In case you didn't know, Never Have I Ever is a game that's usually played with the aim of getting to know another person more. There will be personal questions asked, answerable by yes or no, and whoever answered “yes” will have to drink and explain themselves.

Although no drinks were spared to Sangah, Yujeong, Nayoung, Jian, Juhyeon, Hina, Huiyeon, and Chowon, the LIGHTSUM members enjoyed playing the game and were all very transparent about their answers.

Just like their fans, SUMIT, as they play the game, LIGHTSUM discovered new things about each other and got to see the members in a different light.

Questions such as have they ever “sang the wrong lyrics to their song,” “forgotten their choreography on stage,” “searched their name online,” “cried over a movie,” and more were answered by LIGHTSUM.

Sub-vocalist Yujeong admitted that she once sang the wrong lyrics to their song. She shares, “It was when performing “Vanilla.” My first part goes, “Snowy dream's tasty.” And my second verse goes, “In your snowy dreams.” But I sang the second verse as the first verse. I got it wrong. I was really nervous because it was the very first part of the song.”

The other members were quick to comfort her and said that it was normal to make mistakes like that. Members Sangah, Juhyeon, and Nayoung also revealed that they have once forgotten their choreography on stage.

Main dancer and lead vocalist Juhyeon says, “I also forgot the choreography when we danced in front of our parents.”

On a personal level, the members also answered if they have ever cried over a movie. The other members were shocked to find out that Juhyeon and Nayoung have never once cried. The two members said that they only feel sad and get teary-eyed but never really wailed over a movie.

LIGHTSUM were also asked if they have never been to the Philippines and it was revealed that sub-vocalist Hina was the only one to have ever visited the country.

Hina shares, “I've been there twice. It was really fun. In the Philippines, the sea is so beautiful. I saw a lot of beautiful fish in the sea. The fruits are delicious.”

Last May 26, LIGHTSUM also released their first mini-album Into the Light and dropped along with it the music video for the album's title track “ALIVE.”

According to Yujeong, the title track holds a magical power that will make the listener feel like falling in love the instant they hear it.

LIGHTSUM is a South Korean girl group formed in 2021 under Cube Entertainment. The eight members are Sangah, Chowon, Nayoung, Hina, Juhyeon, Yujeong, Huiyeon, and Jian.
