Lily Collins is engaged to American film director Charlie McDowell.

On Friday, September 25, Lily shared that she accepted the proposal of writer-director Charlie McDowell by posting a series of photos of herself and her new fiancé against a beautiful mountain backdrop.
“I've been waiting my lifetime for you and I can't wait to spend our lifetime together,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself and Charlie sharing a kiss.
The daughter of singer Phil Collins and Jill Tavelman also posted a photo of her incredible rock that experts estimate could be anywhere from $5,000 to $100,000.
Director Charlie also shared the news on his personal social media account, writing: “In a time of uncertainty and darkness you have illuminated my life. I will forever cherish my adventure with you.”
The couple revealed that they became official in 2019. They posted their photo together on Instagram to announce the news.
Charlie McDowell is the son of Golden Globe-nominated actor Malcolm McDowell and Academy award-winning actress Mary Steenburgen.
