Lisa Marie Presley has been pronounced dead, news reports confirm on Friday.
The American singer-songwriter was the only child of music legend Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla Presley. She was also the sole heir to her father's estate.
"It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us," Priscilla Presley was quoted saying by BBC News.
Lisa Marie was rushed to a hospital early on Thursday after close sources to the singer confirm she suffered a "full cardiac arrest."
She was found unresponsive at her home in Calabasas, California, and was administered CPR and epinephrine--commonly known as an adrenaline to help regain a pulse.
The singer was last seen in public accompanied by her mother Priscilla on Tuesday night at the Golden Globes Awards in Beverly Hills, California. The two were seen in tears as they watched actor Austin Butler win Best Actor for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the 2022 biopic Elvis.
Born at the height of her father's fame in 1968, she was only four when Elvis and Priscilla separated in 1972 and was only nine when Elvis died in 1977.
Lisa Marie followed her father's footsteps in music as she released three albums, To Whom It May Concern (2003), Now What (2005), and Storm & Grace (2012).
She was married four times: with pop legend Michael Jackson, actor Nicholas Cage, and musicians Danny Keough and Michael Lockwood. Lisa Marie had four children namely Riley Keough; Benjamin Keough, who passed away in July 2020 from suicide; Harper Lockwood; and Finley Lockwood.
