Mav and Oscar are both excited to begin this new chapter in their careers.

In her Instagram post, Mav said, “Little story time. Prayer and fasting this year, I asked God for new opportunities at work ('Balitanghali Weekend' folded during the pandemic). Day 2 of fasting, I received a call telling me about this show.

“Grabe. God really gives beyond what you ask for or imagine. Thank you @gmanetwork for trusting us! #OOMG na talaga sa #OnRecord!”

Oscar also expressed his excitement on IG by saying, “Maraming maraming salamat po sa Panginoon at sa GMA News and Public Affairs, your trust and generosity motivate and empower me to do my best, always. @gmapublicaffairs @mav_gonzales @gmanetwork @mjmarfori”

In a statement given to GMANetwork.com, Mav said, “I'm really excited to spread good vibes with the stories that we will feature on the show. We're still battling with the pandemic and it would be really nice to show people na hindi naman lahat pangit o masama ang nangyayari. There are still good things happening and there are still good people around us.”

Oscar echoed the same sentiment by saying, “I'm looking forward to give a dose of positive vibes to the viewers and context to the stories that could help make an impact in their daily lives.”
