Alessandra de Rossi is known to the world of show business as an actress par excellence having been recognized by several award giving bodies for her work, the latest of which is the Best Actress award from the "5th Singkuwento International Film Festival."

She was also part of the Filipino contingent at the recent Berlin International Film Festival for Lav Diaz's film Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis.

Back in 2012, the actress launched an independent 11-track album dubbed Adrift. She also did the vocals to the song Memo, one of the songs in the album Synthesis by her good friend Glaiza de Castro.
